On an early morning on a random day, our class adviser told us not to surrender our phones on our first subject. She said that our first subject teacher will be going to ask us to use our phones. Upon hearing that, I thought what another nonsense is she going to make us do.
When our Media and Information Literacy (MIL) teacher entered our class, after being intrigued of what we are going to do, we asked her right away. She then discussed our task. Since our topic was about the Aesthetics of New Media, we were tasked to take 10 photos and edit them. We were only allowed to go within the vicinity of the school.
Here are the photos that I took using my Samsung Galaxy A7 2018 and edited them using Snapseed and the editor application of my phone:

After finishing the task, I got to realize that our school is actually beautiful. I also got to appreciate how this institution affected me for the past almost six years that I have been here. This task had given me an opportunity to capture photos that will serve as remembrance when I leave this school. Photos that will tell a thousand stories in the future.
I may have thought that this is a nonsense thing; something I will suck at because of my lack of photography and editing skills. In the end, amidst my not so aesthetic photos, I am glad we made this task. I did not only get a chance to be creative but also see and appreciate the beauty of our school.
